Boca Grande is a central part of Capt. Andy Boyette’s tarpon fishing service. Trips may fish the beaches, Boca Grande Pass, Charlotte Harbor or Pine Island Sound as the seasonal fishing pattern develops.
Spring and summer tarpon planning
May, June and July are prime months to discuss early when booking a tarpon trip. Six-hour trips are offered with AM or PM departures, with eight- and ten-hour options also available. Contact the captain early to discuss your dates and preferred trip.
A background in Boca Grande tarpon fishing
Capt. Andy’s fishing history includes participation in the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series. His results include championship qualifications, top-ten points finishes and a first-place finish. That tournament history is part of his experience guiding anglers in the area.
Private charter options
Choose a 6-hour AM or PM trip, an 8-hour trip or a 10-hour trip. Rates are $200 per hour for 1–3 anglers, with a fourth angler an additional $200 per trip. Maximum four anglers per boat.
