PUNTA GORDA & CHARLOTTE HARBOR

Make a harbor fishing day part of your visit.

Punta Gorda’s waterfront setting on Charlotte Harbor makes it part of the Southwest Florida area served by Capt. Andy Boyette. Arrange a private fishing charter while staying in town, with the meeting location coordinated directly with the captain.

Look beyond the town waterfront

Punta Gorda has a close connection to Charlotte Harbor. For a guided fishing day, the harbor itself offers the more useful planning context: mangrove shorelines, grass flats and deeper seasonal tarpon water form different parts of the fishery.

Choose the experience you want

Tell Capt. Andy whether you are interested in tarpon or a light-tackle inshore trip. His service welcomes beginners and experienced anglers. Where you stay and where the boat departs may differ, so discuss both before settling the trip details.

Private charter options

Choose a 6-hour AM or PM trip, an 8-hour trip or a 10-hour trip. Rates are $200 per hour for 1–3 anglers, with a fourth angler an additional $200 per trip. Maximum four anglers per boat.

Bait, tackle and the charter fishing license are included. See full rates and inclusions or prepare for your fishing day.
